We’re launching a new support group in Cornwall to help even more people affected by cancer.

Our support group in Plymouth has been helping those impacted by prostate, penile and testicular cancer for more than 15 years. The group means men and families can meet local people who’ve walked a similar path, find mutual support, but also enjoy trips and opportunities beyond just talking about cancer.

The new group will provide the same relaxed and supportive space a little closer to home for Cornish patients. We’ll be meeting from 2pm-4pm on the first Monday of each month at The Halfway House pub in Polbathic, and every meeting is open to all – patients, friends and family.

A big thank you to pub landlord Lloyd Halliday, who’s kindly offered us free use of this warm, welcoming space. The meeting times for the next few months are:

1st June – 2pm-4pm

6th July – 2pm – 4pm

3rd August – 2pm-4pm

7th September – 2pm-4pm

5th October – 2pm-4pm

2nd November – 2pm-4pm

Head to the Support section of our website if you’d like to find out more about upcoming meetings and events for those impacted by cancer.

We can only provide this vital support for prostate, testicular and penile cancer patients in devon and Cornwall thanks to the amazing people who support us. Thank you for helping us make life a little easier for those facing tough times.

If you or someone you know is affected by prostate, testicular or penile cancer, our free patient and family support groups across Devon and Cornwall offer a space to connect with others who understand what you’re going through.
