Donating isn’t always about giving money, it’s often about giving time to help us raise money. The Chestnut Appeal runs events across Devon and Cornwall throughout the year and these simply couldn’t happen if it wasn’t for our dedicated team of volunteers and supporters.
We always need volunteers to help our events run smoothly. That might be with people to marshal and control events or people to man support stations and sign-up desks. These are vitally important volunteers and the best bit is, you get to wear a hi vis jacket.
There are times when we need people more than we need money, because it’s people that help us raise even more money. With this in mind, think about how you can give up some time and offer to help us out.
We’re a very friendly, collaborative team and welcome everyone that has a shared view that giving up some time to help every so often is a fantastic stepping stone and very much part of our overall fundraising effort.
